RENO, Nev. – Nevada men's golf coach Jacob Wilner has announced the Wolf Pack's 2021 spring schedule, which includes seven events between February and May.
 
Typically the Wolf Pack plays both a fall and spring season, but with the cancelation of the fall season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Nevada will play seven events, including the Mountain West Championship, in the spring of 2021.
 
Nevada will tee off in its 2021 season Feb. 19-21 at the Desert Intercollegiate. The tournament will be hosted by Wyoming, but will be held at the Classic Club in Palm Desert, Calif. It will be the first time Nevada will compete at this event since 2015. From there the Pack will play three events in the month of March, starting with the Lamkin San Diego Classic March 8-9 at San Diego Country Club.
 
Near the end of the month Nevada will squeeze two events into the final week of March as it is scheduled to compete in the National Invitational Tournament March 20-21 and The Goodwin March 25-27. These two events will likely be some of the largest fields the Wolf Pack will compete in during the season. The NIT, hosted by Arizona, will be played at Omni Tucson National in Tucson, Ariz., and The Goodwin, hosted by Stanford, will be played at Stanford's home golf course in Palo Alto.
 
Nevada will then gear up for its final two regular season events before the Mountain West Championship. The Pack will participate in the El Macero Classic, an event it won in 2018, April 10-12 and conclude the regular season at the BYU Cougar Classic April 23-24 in Provo, Utah. The Mountain West Championship will take place April 30 – May 1 at Omni Tucson National, a course that the Pack will have already seen after playing it at the National Invitational Tournament in March.
 
At the conclusion of these seven events, the Wolf Pack will see if it can qualify for NCAA Regionals. NCAA Regionals will be held May 16-19.
