RENO, Nev. - The Wolf Pack track & field team started the indoor season with a bang as they finished the Bronco Invitational with many top three finishes and a new school record. 
 
The day started off with prelims for the 60 meter hurdles, which saw Nicola Ader break the school all-time record with a time of 8.48, which qualified her to the finals. In the finals, Ader broke her own record with a time of 8.46, which secured her second place. 
 
Ader also saw success in the high jump, which she also holds the all-time record for at Nevada. She secured a first place finish in the event with a height of 1.82 meters, only 0.01m lower than her Nevada record.
 
Along with Ader, Agnese Mulatero also competed in the 60m hurdles finals. Mulatero finished with a time of 8.85, which gave her a third place finish.
 
Nevada saw lots of success throughout many of the field events. Gabrielle Palmer finished in second place in the pole vault with a distance of 3.95m. In the triple jump, Gabrielle Fraser finished third with a distance of 11.65m, which was only 0.03m from her personal best. 
 
Two athletes saw first place finishes in different track events. Karoline Sauer pushed through her competition and finished the 600m run with a time of 1:31.97. Hiley Dobbs finished on top of the 3000m run with a time of 10:02.36. Dobbs ran away with that event being 10 seconds above the second place runner.
 
The 4x400m run saw Karoline Sauer, Emily Costello, Lauren Green, and Eliza McCall finish in third with a time of 3:49.89. While another third place finish occured in the shot put as junior Brandi French ended with a distance of 13.6m.
 
The Pack will be traveling back to Boise next week when it competes in the Ed Jacoby Invitational from Jan. 24-25.
