RENO, Nev. - Members of the Nevada women's basketball team volunteered their time Thursday afternoon at the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows. Sophomore
Amaya West and newcomers
LaPraisjah Johnson and
Nia Alexander were on hand to chat and interact with a group of campers about what they do and how sports has helped them in their lives. The program that the campers were attending is called Go Girl Go, an award winning curriculum and sports education program that works to improve the health of sedentary girls and keeps them involved in physical activity. The three members of the Wolf Pack, along with a couple of staff members, also put the campers through a fun physical activity as part of their visit.
