RENO, Nev. –Â
Amanda Levens will not return as Nevada Women's Basketball head coach, Director of Athletics
Stephanie Rempe announced Monday.
Levens spent nine seasons (2017-26) at the Wolf Pack helm, leading the team to 126 wins, the most since the NCAA first sponsored a women's basketball championship (since 1981-82), a Mountain West Championship game appearance (2018) and two postseason berths (2018, 2022). Wolf Pack players earned 14 All-Mountain West selections under Levens' watch, including
Skylar Durley being named 2025-26 Freshman of the Year.
"We are grateful for Amanda's leadership of the Wolf Pack Women's Basketball program and the meaningful impact she, her staff, and student-athletes have had throughout Northern Nevada," Rempe said. "Amanda and her team always represented the university in a first-class manner, elevating our presence in the community through consistent engagement with local organizations and a genuine commitment to service. We appreciate her contributions to our university and wish her well in her next chapter."
A national search for the next Wolf Pack head coach will begin immediately.
