COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West is sending 12 student-athletes to compete in the 15th annual Global Challenge, which takes place in Pula, Croatia, from July 16-19. For the sixth year, the Conference is sending an all-star contingent of athletes, which is made up from seven of the MW's institutions.
Nevada is sending senior setter, Dalyn Burns and junior outside hitter, Kayla Afoa as roster players heading to Croatia. This will be the first time either has participated in this experience but not the first time a member of the Wolf Pack has made the trip.
Former Wolf Pack volleyball player, Madison Foley participated in 2017 while Madison Morell and former graduate assistant Vish Djurdjevic both went in 2016.
Fresno State head coach, Johnathan Winder will lead the all-star roster along with the Bulldog setter, Madelyn Haltman. Colorado State is sending Olivia Nicholson and Sasha Colombo while Boise State has Jessica Donahue and Kiley Lewis representing. Erin Gillcrist from San Diego State, Sarah Smevog and Haylee Nelson from San José State and Corinne Larsen and Whitney Solosabal from Utah State will round out the roster.
The Mountain West team earned runner-up honors in the u23 bracket during the 2018 tour.

ABOUT BRING IT USA
The 15th annual Global Challenge will return to Pula, Croatia to host under 17 and under 23 divisions from around the world. The opening ceremonies will take place on July 16th and competition will take place on July 16, 17, 18 & 19th. The mission of the Global Challenge is to provide teams international playing experience and exposure. Past tournaments participants have included club and country federation teams from Slovenia, Russia, Romania, Germany, Bosnia, Montenegro, China, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Denmark and Puerto Rico, plus USA regional HP, youth national, junior national, and collegiate national teams.
