RENO, Nev. – The Nevada women's golf team returns to the course for its fourth event of the spring, the Meadow Club Collegiate.
 
The two-day, 54-hole tournament, which is co-hosted by San José State and San Francisco, begins Monday from the Meadow Club in Fairfax, Calif. and will conclude with the final 18 holes on Tuesday. The course will play at a par of 72 and at a distance of 6,157 yards. This is the fifth year of this event and is the Pack's second time competing. Nevada last participated in this tournament two years ago and placed 11^th.
 
The field features 12 teams and is a mix of Power Five teams and mid-majors. Out of the Pac-12 California and Washington State will compete and Minnesota and Rutgers will participate out of the Big 10. Nevada will also face some competition from around the Mountain West as the conference championship is a month out, squaring off against San José State and Boise State this week.
 
Head coach Kathleen Takaishi will send mostly the same lineup as she has all season long, but with one change. Freshman Danni Ujimori played herself into the starting lineup earlier this week and will compete in her second collegiate event, and first as part of the official team lineup. Takaishi will also send freshman Victoria Gailey, seniors Kaitlin Collom and Chaithra Katamneni and junior Jenny Krause to compete. Junior Katy Rutherford will compete as well but will be entered as an individual.
