RENO, Nev. – Nevada men's golf coach Jacob Wilner has signed Tom Patterson to a National Letter of Intent. Patterson will join the Wolf Pack for the 2020-21 season.
 
"We are excited to add Tom to our program," said Wilner. "He is a talented player and has had success on a big stage recently. Being Australian he is right in the middle of his summer schedule and will be ready to go next fall!"
 
Patterson, a native of Perth, Western Australia, boasts some impressive finishes on his résumé, including a runner-up showing at the 2018 Callaway Junior in Australia. He has wins at the Western Australian Private Schools Competition and the West Australian ranking event, the Joondalup Open. He also recorded second place finishes at the West Australian ranking event, the Seaview Men's Open, and the West Australian ranking event, the Lake Karrinyup Men's Bowl. Additionally, Patterson is the youngest winner of the Cottesloe Cup and Club Championship, where he set the club record with rounds of 67 and 70.
 
Patterson is the second signee in the early signing period for Wilner, who also added Jack Steck in November.
