RENO, Nev. – Sophomore running back Toa Taua has been named the Wolf Pack Student-Athlete of the week following Nevada's 35-28 win at Fresno State on Saturday. Taua scored the game-winning touchdown with 12 seconds left to give Nevada its seventh win of the year.
 
The Lompoc, Calif. native tallied his second 100-yard rushing performance of the season, gashing the Bulldogs for 135 yards and a touchdown. He tallied 93 yards in the first half alone and carried the rock 20 times on the evening.
 
This was Nevada's first road win against Fresno State since 2015, and is currently on a season-high three-game win streak.
