RENO, Nev. – Nevada men's golf coach Jacob Wilner has added one in this early signing period, signing Jack Steck to the Wolf Pack roster for 2020-21.
 
"We are excited to have Jack join our program," said Wilner. "He loves the game, works hard and we are looking forward to helping him grow as a player."
 
Steck hails from San Jose, Calif. and Bellarmine College Preparatory where he is a three-time letterwinner in golf. Over the course of his high school career Steck has helped his team capture three tournament titles, including back-to-back West Catholic Athletic League (WCAL) Championships in 2018 and 2019.
 
On an individual level in high school, Steck claimed the 2019 Central Coast Section title. Outside of his high school play Steck also claimed first place finishes on the junior golf circuit, winning at FCWT Teal Bend and JTNC San Juan Oaks. He also finished in the runner-up spot at FCWT Haggin Oaks.
 
Steck will join the Wolf Pack next fall for the 2020-21 season.
