Nevada swim and dive set for two dual meets in Lombardi Pool

RENO, Nev. – After back-to-back dual meet wins to start the season, the Wolf Pack now opens its home season with two dual meets this weekend, Oct. 25 and 26. On Friday, Oct. 25, Nevada plays host to Fresno State at 5 pm before an 11 am meet with UC Davis on Saturday.

Fans in attendance on Friday evening will have the opportunity to snack on some pizza during and after the meet. On Saturday, a one-hour post meet technique lesson will be open for kids in the 8th grade or younger that are considered water safe.
This meet will be the first time the dive team will get to showcase its talent at Lombardi, as they will also be competing on Friday and Saturday. Two weekends ago, at the UNLV meet, the Nevada divers had a clean sweep in the 1-meter and 3-meter events for the season opener.

Both dual meets will feature traditional events such as the 50 free, 100 back, 100 breast, 200 fly alongside many other events. Against Fresno State, the meet will have the 400 IM with just the 400 free relay while the UC Davis meet will have the 200 IM, 200 medley relay and the 200 free relay.

Saturday's meet against UC Davis will be live streamed for fans across the world on Mountain West Network while both meets will have updates through @NevadaSwim on Twitter.

For continued updates and more information on the team, fans can follow the Nevada Swim and Dive team on twitter or @NevadaS&D on Instagram.
