RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada (2-1) men's tennis team returns to action with a pair of matches this weekend against Portland (1-3) and Oregon (3-1) in Eugene, Ore. The Wolf Pack opened the season last weekend going 2-1 in a trip to California.
The Pack will face Portland at 9 a.m. at the Student Tennis Center on Friday and the Ducks at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Julien Evrard and
Jonathan Aremon each won both of their singles matches last weekend while
Daniel Dudockin posted a 2-1 record. Evrard played at No. 1 singles and Aremon earned a victory on court three and five.
Evrard's perfect week earned him Mountain West Player of the Week honors.
Four Pack doubles teams went 1-0 in the two days of competition. Evrard,
Kostya Nesterenko and Gvidas Motuzas each went 2-0 playing with different partners.
