RENO, Nev. - Looking to bounce back after a recent skid, the Nevada volleyball team (7-6, 0-2) welcomes the Boise State Broncos (9-4, 1-1) to Virginia Street Gym, Saturday, Sept. 27.
Match time is set for 6:30 p.m. PT and marks the 51st meeting between the two teams. The series is currently tied 25-25 and is the longest-running series in program history.
The Wolf Pack will be looking to end a four-game skid after falling to Colorado State and Wyoming in the opening week of conference play. The Broncos however split its first week, dropping the match against UNLV in three sets before sweeping New Mexico at home.
One of the constants on the floor for Nevada is the offense, led by the outside hitters in junior
Jamila Minor and sophomore
Kayla Afoa. The duo is ranked one and two in the conference for attacks per set and Minor is sitting in 24th in the nation for her average of 11.70. Â Both have tallied over five double-double with Minor at five and Afoa with eight following the Wyoming match.
Senior
Mo Maluotoga has a team high number of digs with 205 giving her a 4.36 per set average while redshirt freshman
Hailey Maniglia leads in blocks with 32.0. In comparison to Broncos of Boise State, their leader in digs is freshman libero Jessie Brigham with 151 and redshirt junior Jessica Donahue with 61 blocks, two of which are solo.
The match is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. PT and will be streamed on the Mountain West Network with play by play by TJ Sarbacker.  The broadcast will be available through several entities.
