RENO, Nev. – Winning three of its last four matches, the Nevada women's tennis team (5-5) will host Stanislaus State (6-9) at the McArthur Tennis Center this Friday at 11 a.m. This is the first of five scheduled home matches for the Wolf Pack this season.

Improving its singles record to 30-29 after winning its last two matches, Nevada is being led by freshman Melissa Huchet who leads the squad with seven victories, all on court No. 4. Fellow freshman Lili Fekete also has seven wins this season, with six of those wins coming from court No. 5. Senior Claudia Herrero has been the Pack's primary player on court No. 1, earning six victories. Huchet, Fekete and freshman Anastaysha Gorbacheva are all on four match win streaks.

Herrero and teammate Blaga Delic are ranked as the 73rd doubles tandem in the country by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association with a 7-2 record. The tandem has been ranked as high as 52 this season. The team sits at 12-14 on the season in doubles play.

Stanislaus comes to Reno with a 6-9 record and on a four-match win streak. The Warriors are also only 1-4 on the season away from home. Cassidy Ferrell boasts the most wins on the team at nine in singles play.
