PROVO, Utah - Nevada women's tennis continued its run in the ITA Mountain Regionals, with Amahée Charrier advancing to the quarterfinals. She is now two wins away from earning her bid to the NCAAs. 

In singles, Charrier won both of her matches in three sets to continue on to tomorrow. She first defeated Hana Becirovic Novak of Denver, 7-6, 1-6, 6-4. She then moved on to beat Veronika Kliuch of UNLV, 2-6, 6-1, 6-1. Charrier now advances to the quarterfinal where she will play Nikol Mircheva of UNLV. 

Kennedy Robinson won her first match of the day over Eszter Kis-Czako, 6-2 and 6-1, but fell in the next match to Louise Wikander of Denver, 6-3 and 6-1. 

Petra Janigova also played today, defeating Millie Day of Idaho State, 2-6, 6-3 and 6-3, but lost in her next match to Mircheva, 6-1 and 6-0.

Three Nevada players also won in 'extra' matches. Wiem Boubaker defeated Stella Beldiman of Boise State 5-7, 7-5, 13-11, Silvia-Maria Costache beat Willow Gretsch from Colorado 6-1, 6-2 and Marlene Foerster won against Lera Alexin, also from Colorado, 6-3, 6-2.

Charrier will compete in the quarter finals tomorrow beginning at 7 AM PT/8 AM MT.
