SERIES HISTORY
Nevada and UC Davis have surprisingly only played one another in women's basketball one time, despite being about a two hour drive away. The Pack took the only matchup back in 1981, 68-59, in Davis.
SENIOR LEADERSHIP
Senior
Jade Redmon has gotten off to a strong start in her final collegiate season as the only Wolf Pack player to score in double figures in all five games to begin the year. Redmon has steadily improved from game to game, totaling 11 points in the season opener, followed by 12 at Santa Clara and then a season-best 18 in the win at Long Beach State. She totaled 25 points between the two games of the Nugget Classic and was named to the all-tournament team for her performance. Redmon leads the team averaging 13.2 points per game, which is just outside the top 10 in the conference. Additionally, Redmon needs 101 points to reach 1,000 in her collegiate career, including her two years at Eastern Washington.
CAPTURE THE ESSENCE
Freshman
Essence Booker has come on strong in her last few games. Booker played just six minutes and had three turnovers in the season opener against Utah, but has rebounded nicely since that game. Since the season opener she has started in the last three games and is tied for the team lead among freshmen averaging 5.8 points per game. She currently ranks second in the Mountain West, connecting on 55.6 percent of her shots from beyond the arc.
DA'JA HEAR THAT
Another freshman making an impact early on for the Wolf Pack is Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. native
Da'Ja Hamilton. Hamilton has been productive for the Pack coming off the bench in the first five games. She has been the most productive from the free throw line, where she is shooting 90 percent (18-of-20) from the line, tops on the team and is fourth in the Mountain West.
