LOS ANGELES  – The Nevada men's tennis team went 4-5 on the second day of the Loyola Marymount University Invitational in Los Angeles. The Wolf Pack defeated the two-time defending Mountain West champion Utah State Aggies in doubles.

In the day's singles matchup with the host LMU Lions, the Pack went 2-4.
Jeremy Merville moved to 2-0 in the tournament with a 4-6, 7(7)-6, 6-1 victory over Lucas Moreno. Going back to last week's Bulldog Classic in Fresno, Calif., Merville has won four of his last five matches. Also victorious for Nevada was
Matvey Radionov, winning 6-4, 6-3 over Diego Nava.

Kostya Nesterenko, in his first appearance in the LMU Invitational, fell 6-3, 6-1 to Lukas Moenter. Nesterenko was in Surprise, Ariz. this week, competing in the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships alongside teammate
Julien Evrard.

Delmas N'tcha was defeated 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 by Nick Borchenko, while
Jonathan Aremon lost 6-4, 6-4 to Max Kaiser.
Benjamin Campi fell 6-0, 6-1 to Ethan Prost.

The Pack went 2-1 in doubles against Utah State, with the duo of Campi and Radionov earning their second win of the tournament. The pair defeated Daniel Bushamuka and Sergiu Bucur 8-7.
Daniel Dudockin and Nesterenko topped Rithvik Bollipalli and Isaac Arturo Arevalo 8-2, while N'tcha and Evrard fell 8-2 to Duro Opacic and Felipe Acosta.

Tomorrow will be the final day of the LMU Invitational, and will complete the Pack's fall tournament schedule.
