Nevada sits in first after day one at Pacific Invitational

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Nevada women's swim team completed its first day at the Pacific Invitational on Friday night. The second day action begins on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 10 a.m. PT.

The Wolf Pack are currently in the lead with 405.5. New Mexico sits in second with 401 and Pacific in third with 378 to round out the top three.

Nevada swimmers were responsible for six event wins on the day, out of the eight events swam.

Imogen Watson won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 57.38 and starting the Pack off with 20 points. Sophomore Donna dePolo won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:03.61 for another 20 points and freshman Julia Adamczyk took first in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:25.40.

Junior Andressa Cholodovskis claimed both the 200-yard free in 1:49.47 and the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:05.29.

The Nevada 400-yard freestyle relay, comprised of Rebecca Murray, Caitlyn Richardson, Jamie Reynolds and Cholodovskis, took first with a time of 3:27.34.
