Nevada wraps up road swing at San Diego State

Will look to rebound from loss at Fresno State

RENO, Nev.  – In the third game of three straight on the road, the Nevada Wolf Pack will face San Diego State Saturday on the hardwood.

The match is set for 1 p.m. PT live on the Mountain West Network. The Wolf Pack won its first two matchups of conference play before dropping a road match at Fresno State on Thursday. San Diego State will be looking for its first Mountain West victory against the Pack. A key to Nevada winning will be controlling SDSU's top player, Deja Harris, who is hitting .362 on the year while leading the Aztec offense.

Freshman Kayla Afoa has stepped into an all-around roll in her first year on the team. Having recorded at least 10 digs in eight matches this season, Afoa put up a career-high 11 kills vs. Fresno State on Thursday, solidifying her versatility on the team. Junior Gabby Szachara made her first career start against the Bulldogs, recording four kills.

Fans can tune in live to the match on the Mountain West Network via NevadaWolfPack.TV. Live stats will be available at nevadastats.com.
