RENO, Nev. – Heading into its final week of action for the 2017 season, the Nevada Wolf Pack volleyball team (9-19, 7-9 MW) will head to Logan, Utah to face the Utah State Aggies (15-13, 7-9 MW) Thursday night.
Match time is set for 6 p.m. PT live on the Mountain West Network. The two teams sit at a perfectly even 21-21 all time as one will look to grab the advantage back. The Aggies have the hot hand, though, having won the last three matchups. It will be the first and only time the two teams see each other this season.
"We faced some tough competition last week and just couldn't pull it out," head coach
Lee Nelson said. "But we have the opportunity to end conference play at .500, and I think we definitely can do it."
Sophomore
Shayla Hoeft's offense has increased in volume as of late, a good sign heading into the final two matches. She cracked back into the top 10 in kills per set in the Mountain West, averaging 3.17 now.
The match will be streamed live on the Mountain West Network via NevadaWolfPack.TV. Live stats can also be found on NevadaWolfPack.com while updates and notes on Twitter will come from @PackVB.
Saturday's match against Boise State, set for 1 p.m., will also mark Senior Day for three of the Wolf Pack's players in

Peighton De Von and
Gabby Szachara. Tickets are available at NevadaWolfPack.com or by calling 348-PACK.
