RENO, Nev. – Looking to bounce back from its four set loss on Thursday night, the Nevada Wolf Pack (6-17, 4-7 MW) will face the Fresno State Bulldogs (9-14, 4-7) Saturday.
Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. PT in Virginia Street Gym. The match will be a rematch of the contest between the two teams on Sept. 28 when the Bulldogs defeated the Pack 4-1. Although the numbers on paper look even, the Wolf Pack had won the three matches prior to the loss this season. Nevada will look to get back on track Saturday.
"It's always good for a team to pick up a win before hitting the road again," head coach
Lee Nelson said. "With everyone back from injury and our offense getting more efficient, we can come out on top if we execute."
The three most recent players to come back from injury, senior
Madison Foley and sophomores
Shayla Hoeft and
Camille Davey, have made their impact since returning. Foley has hit double-figure kill numbers in four of the last six matches, while Hoeft tallied nine kills with a solid five blocks against San Diego State. Davey has tallied digs in the double figure in her last three matches.
The match is tentatively unavailable on the Mountain West Network, but live stats will be available at NevadaStats.com. Updates will also be available on Twitter via @PackVB.
