Rebecca Murray, a senior member of the women's swim and dive team, was named the Wolf Pack Athlete of the Week following her performance at the 2019 Mountain West Championships. The Pack finished second as a team with 1,261.50 points.

The Falkirk, Scotland native finished her final Mountain West Championship as the tenth ranked individual of the meet with a total of 80 points. Murray highlighted the meet after defending her gold medal in the 100 freestyle with an NCAA 'B' standard time of 49.11. Not only was that time a personal record but it was also a school record beating the previous holders time of 49.14. 

Murray also swam anchor for the 800 freestyle relay that claimed the gold with a time of 7:09.76. Along with the two gold medals, she was a member of the silver medal relay squads in the 400 freestyle relay and the 200 freestyle relay. Rounding out the medals was a bronze in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:37.94.

In her final two individual events she took fifth overall in the 200 freestyle and seventh in the 50 freestyle. Murray sits in second in the MW for her 100 free time.
