Coming off a record-shattering performance Friday at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival, redshirt freshman distance runner Morgin Coonfield has been named this week’s Bradley, Drendel & Jeanney Student-Athlete of the Week.

Coonfield clocked a time of 34:45.86 in the 10,000 meter, breaking the previous record by almost 13 seconds. Her time currently sits eighth in the Mountain West, 24th in the West Region and 44th in the entire country.
