RENO, NEV. – After a successful meet at the Rice Twilight in Houston, senior Nicola Ader was named Wolf Pack athlete of the week and Mountain West field athlete of the week.

Ader started off the meet in the long jump, where the senior broke her own school record. Her distance of 6.34 meters not only broke her school record of 6.29m, but also earned Ader a second place finish at the meet.

The mark currently ranks her at the top of the MW in the event. Ader is just above Jonon Young from UNLV who is in second with a mark of 6.30m.

This isn’t the only event that Ader ranks in the top-10. The senior ranks at the top of the MW in the heptathlon with a point total of 5,077. The high jump has Ader ranked third with a height of 1.73m. Lastly, a time of 14.13 ranks Ader at seventh in the 100m hurdles. 

Ader and the track team will look to compete in the West Coast Relays on Apr. 30 just before competing at the MW Outdoor Championships.
