Reimbursement process

  • Student-athletes on a textbook scholarship may need to find materials outside of the Nevada Wolf Shop on campus. If all necessary required books or required course materials are not available when you pick up your books, the University will work with you to purchase required books/course materials that are missing.
  • To request materials, you didn’t originally receive from the bookstore, you will need to reach out to the department administrative assistant (Samantha Altergott). She will be able to purchase items you are missing and will let you know once the items are delivered to the Petersen Academic Center, where you will pick them up. Student athletes need to request reimbursement no later than the first Friday of their summer course (courses are fast-paced during the summer term and missing items longer than this course result in issues passing the course). STUDENT ATHLETES SHOULD NOT BE PAYING FOR ANY MATERIALS OUT OF POCKET. Athletics will not cover any duplicate items. The last day for student reimbursements for Fall 2021 is October 12, 2021. The following are examples of commonly covered and not-covered items.
