Academic Center Expectations for Wolf Pack Student-Athletes
-
HONESTY - We can only help support your academic career if we really know what is going on.
-
RESPECT - For all of those around you. Academic staff, fellow student-athletes, and visitors.
-BE ON TIME AND PREPARED – For all meetings and appointments; have your check-in sheets, syllabi, due dates, notes, etc.
-COMMUNICATE – With your advisor, with your coaches, with faculty. No one wants to be surprised by grades or by absences.
-BE ACCOUNTABLE – For your choices and for your actions. Your academic integrity, eligibility, and the work you get done in study hall all depend on you.
-USE STUDY HALL TIME APPROPRIATELY – This is your chance to get work done. Don’t spend it watching videos, texting, or talking.
-FOOD IN THE ATRIUM ONLY – We know you may need time to eat, but throw away your own trash, and do not bring food to the computer lab or study rooms. Help keep the building clean for other student-athletes.
-SHOWER BEFORE YOU ARRIVE – Otherwise, not only are you an olfactory nightmare, you also risk the spread of MRSA and other illnesses.
-IF YOU SEE OR HEAR QUESTIONABLE ACTIVITIES – Let a staff member know as soon as possible. Everyone shares responsibility for protecting the integrity and the reputation of our programs.
-GO TO CLASS! – If you do not attend class, no tutor or advisor can help you. Nothing is more important to your academic success.
