This Week In Wolf Pack Athletics

RENO, Nev. - Men's Golf is up next on the spring conference championship circuit, while Nevada Softball plays a critical final regular-season Mountain West series in Las Vegas to highlight this week's Wolf pack action.

Wolf Pack Men's Golf travels to Tucson, Arizona to begin play at the 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Championships Sunday at Omni Tucson National Resort. The 54-hole event will play one round per day, with the final round scheduled for Tuesday, May 3.

Nevada Softball heads into the final weekend of regular-season play needing a series victory at arch-rival UNLV to guarantee a bye into the double-elimination portion of May 6-9's Credit Union 1 Mountain West Softball Championship at Christina M. Hixson Park. The Wolf Pack still has an outside chance at at least a share of a regular-season title, sitting two games back of GCU in the standings.

Nevada Baseball plays a key series of its own in Mountain West play this weekend, heading to San Diego State for three games Friday through Sunday. The Wolf Pack is in a three-way tie, on winning percentage, with the Aztecs and Air Force atop the Mountain West standings with three weekends remaining.

Track & Field rounds out its regular season this Saturday, traveling to Clovis for the Fresno State Invitational.

Nevada Baseball plays its penultimate Mountain West series of 2026 this weekend, traveling to San Diego State for three games. The Wolf Pack and Aztecs are tied with Air Force atop the conference standings based on winning percentage (.667) heading into the weekend, while Nevada has just six games left to play and San Diego State nine.

The Pack is coming off a weekend in which it took two of three from arch-rival UNLV, while San Diego State completed a sweep of Fresno State to remain in the hunt for the conference title.

Start times for this weekend's matchups are set for 6 p.m. Friday, 5 p.m. Saturday, and 1 p.m. Sunday.

Nevada Softball plays a pivital series this weekend as it takes on UNLV with a chance to secure the Regular Season titile. Nevada is one game ahead of UNLV in the Mountain West standings and trails behind GCU by two games. The Wolf Pack are coming off a weekend against the Bulldogs in which it took two of the three. 

The start times for this weekend's matchup are set for 6 p.m. Thursday, 3 p.m. Friday, and 1 p.m. Saturday.

Nevada Men's Golf heads to Tucson this weekend for the Mountain West Men's Golf Championships, returning to OMNI Tucson National for the first time since 2023. The Pack are coming off an 8th place finish last season, highlighted by Supakit (Oak) Seelanagae's 16th place finish at six under-par. The Pack head into the championships ranked 107th in the country, and will compete with the many top 50 nationally ranked teams in the Mountain West.

Nevada Track and Field head to Fresno, California this weekend, for the final meet of their regular season at the Fresno State Invitational. This will be the second last chance for athletes to register national marks and times as the program nears postseason competition.
