RENO, Nev. - Nevada Softball has announced its 2026-27 transfer class, welcoming four players who will elevate the program's trajectory heading into the upcoming season. Together, they form one of Nevada's most dynamic incoming groups, ready to make an immediate impact in the Mountain West.

Coach Hayward on Class: "We're excited to welcome Sadie, Ashlyn, Sami, and Annika to the Wolf Pack family! Together they bring power at the plate, high level defensive play and different looks in the circle - but beyond their talent, they are driven women who are hungry to compete, develop, and help us pursue championships. This group addresses key needs across our roster while adding leadership, versatility, and toughness. We can't wait to get them to Reno and see the impact they'll make both on the field and in our community." 

Ashlyn Graklanoff | SS | Boise, Idaho | Austin Peay
Graklanoff made an impact in her first collegiate season at Austin Peay, starting all 29 games and establishing herself as a dependable two‑way contributor for the Governors. She posted  11 hits, eight RBIs, and a home run, while also reaching base at a strong .375 clip. Defensively, she anchored the infield with 34 putouts, 48 assists, and a .901 fielding percentage.

Before arriving at Austin Peay, Graklanoff was a four‑year starter at shortstop at Timberline High School. She finished her career with 154 hits, 125 RBIs, and 36 home runs, ranking among the top 30 players statewide with an elite .959 slugging percentage. She earned four consecutive 6A Southern Idaho All‑State honors, beginning with second-team recognition as a freshman and closing her career as a first-team selection. Graklanoff also secured first-team All‑Southern Idaho Conference honors every season, cementing her status as one of the region's most dominant offensive threats. She helped lead Timberline to three 6A State Championship appearances, finishing third during her freshman and junior seasons and fourth as a senior.

Sadie Guyette | 3B | Tualatin, Oregon | Mt. Hood CC
Guyette delivered one of the most extraordinary seasons ever recorded in collegiate softball during her 2026 campaign at Mt. Hood Community College, dominating the Northwest Athletic Conference. She led the NWAC in batting average (.584) and runs batted in (136), while also leading the Saints in home runs (27), hits (104), and doubles (26). Her 136 RBIs set the new junior college single‑season record, cementing her place in softball history. Guyette paired her offensive power with elite efficiency, walking 28 times against just eight strikeouts and producing a 1.197 slugging percentage. Her consistency and production fueled Mt. Hood's explosive offense, ultimately powering the Saints to their eighth NWAC championship title.

Guyette's postseason performance was equally dominant. She broke the RBI record in her first at‑bat of the NWAC Tournament. Her impact earned her a spot on the NWAC All‑Tournament Team, and she was honored as the NWAC Baden Softball Player of the Year, recognizing her as the conference's most outstanding performer.

Sami Potvin | P | Olympia, Washington | Iowa State
Potvin made her mark early in her collegiate career, emerging as a reliable arm for Iowa State during her freshman season in 2025. She appeared in 17 games with seven starts, finishing the year with a 2–0 record, 18 strikeouts, and one of the most memorable pitching performances in Cyclone history. On March 2 against Grambling State, Potvin threw the program's first perfect game in more than 40 years, five innings in which she allowed no baserunners and struck out nine, the highest single‑game strikeout total by any Cyclone that season. She pitched 28.2 innings overall. Potvin's work in the classroom was equally impressive, earning NFCA All‑America Scholar Athlete honors, a spot on the Big 12 Academic All‑Rookie Team, and placement on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in both Fall 2024 and Spring 2025.

Before beginning her collegiate career, Potvin was a standout at Olympia High School, where she became one of the most dominant pitchers in the South Puget Sound League. A four‑year starter and team captain, she earned Pitcher of the Year three times and was a First Team All‑League selection. She helped lead Olympia to three straight state tournament appearances and recorded over 200 strikeouts in three consecutive seasons. A member of the National Honor Society, Potvin excelled academically while anchoring her team on the field.

Annika Hollingsworth | P | Aberdeen, Washington | Cal Baptist
 Hollingsworth continued her rise during the 2026 season at California Baptist. She pitched 51.1 innings, allowing 57 hits, 33 earned runs, and recording 27 strikeouts. She delivered six complete games, two shutouts, and two saves, demonstrating her versatility as both a starter and a reliever. Her season featured strong outings such as a two‑inning, no‑run performance against UC San Diego, a four‑inning shutout against Abilene Christian, and a five‑inning, one‑earned‑run game against North Dakota State.

Before her collegiate career, Hollingsworth was a four‑year varsity letterwinner, she earned first-team All‑Evergreen League honors four times and served as a three‑year team captain. She also competed for the NW Bullets where she sharpened her skills against elite competition.
