Nevada closes road slate at Wyoming Tuesday night

RENO, Nev. - Following an 85–83 overtime loss at UNLV, Nevada remains on the road for the final road game of the regular season to face Wyoming on Tuesday, March 3.
Pack fans can watch the contest at 7 p.m. on Mountain West Network with Keith Kelley (play-by-play) and Kevin McKinney (analyst) on the call.
The radio broadcast can be heard on 95.5 KNEV in Reno and through the Varsity Network App, featuring John Ramey and Nick Fazekas.

UP NEXT
The Pack will return home for the final game of the regular season. Nevada is set to face the Air Force Falcons on Saturday, March 7, in Lawlor Events Center at 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Nevada falls in overtime against UNLV, 85-83, at Thomas & Mack Center on Saturday evening.
Vaughn Weems led the Pack offense with a career high of 30 points and nine rebounds. Weems was followed by Tayshawn Comer (15 points and three rebounds) and Elijah Price (10 points and five rebounds).
On defense, Nevada had six different players record one steal, while Elijah Price continued to make his impact by protecting the rim with two blocks.
The Pack won the points from the turnover battle, 23-15, and the bench points, 21-12. UNLV outscored Nevada 42-32 in the paint and points from second chances, 14-13.

COWBOYS REMATCH
Last time Nevada and Wyoming faced each other, the Pack dominated the match, 92-83, on January 10 in Lawlor Events Center.
The Pack had five players scoring in the double-digits to help the offense.
Corey Camper Jr. and Elijah Price both set career highs in points against the Cowboys. Camper Jr. had 31 points along with seven rebounds, while Price scored 20 and secured 13 boards. Both also made their impact on the defensive end, protecting the rim with two and three blocks, respectively.
Tayshawn Comer also had an efficient double-double with 10 points and 10 assists, while also recording zero turnovers. Peyton White and Amire Robinson also came up huge off the bench, finishing with 10 points apiece.
Nevada outscored Wyoming in the paint (38-32) and finished shooting 61 percent from the field, 63 percent from three, and 83 percent from the line.

SCOUTING WYOMING
The Cowboys are coming off a 66-62 victory over the Falcons, moving their record to 16-13 overall and 7-11 in conference on Saturday afternoon.
The Cowboys had a tough shooting night, finishing at 35 percent from the field. They went 7-for-28 from three-point range and made just two from beyond the arc in the second half. Air Force shot efficiently, hitting 49 percent of its shots and 44 percent from three with eight makes.
Wyoming converted 13 of its 16 free throws (81 percent) and turned 15 Air Force turnovers into 22 points. The Cowboys also held a slight edge on the boards, outrebounding the Falcons 39–36.
Damarion Dennis led the Pokes with 16 points and three assists. Nasir Meyer added 14 points and eight rebounds. Adam Harakow also contributed with 14 points off the bench.

WEEMS ATTACK
After seeing consistent minutes in Nevada's rotation this season, Vaughn Weems has taken advantage of his opportunities.
The junior recorded back-to-back career-high performances, highlighted by a 20-point game against New Mexico followed by a 30-point game against UNLV.
Weems also recorded a career performance in field goals (10-for-13), free throws (8-for-12), and rebounds (9).

CAMPER JR. IN THE 1,000-POINT CLUB
After dropping 18 points against San Jose State on February 17, Corey Camper Jr. officially joined the 1,000-point club, reaching a major milestone in his collegiate career.
The Little Rock, Ark., native scored 612 points across two seasons at UTEP before transferring to Nevada, where he has added 388 points so far this season.

PRICE PASSES 500 CAREER BOARDS
Elijah Price reached a major milestone in Nevada's win over Utah State on Feb. 21, surpassing 500 career rebounds with 12 boards in the game.
The redshirt sophomore's consistency on the glass has made him a key presence inside, securing crucial rebounds on both ends of the floor.
Earlier this season, Price set a career high with 19 rebounds against Southern Illinois, the most by a Nevada player since 2016 and the best single-game effort under head coach Steve Alford.

NEVADA'S DEPTH
Nevada's depth has been a key factor in its success this season, as it consistently brings energy to both sides of the ball.
The Pack has a 10-4 record, with more bench points than its opponents this season.

FRESHMAN SPARK
Nevada's freshmen continue to make an impact this season.
Peyton White has appeared in 28 games, averaging 15.1 minutes, with career highs of 15 points vs. UC Davis and nine rebounds vs. UC San Diego.
Ethan Croley recorded a double-double (11 points, 10 rebounds) against San Francisco, the program's first by a freshman since 2023.
Myles Walker has added depth in the backcourt, totaling 31 points, 34 assists, 17 rebounds, and 13 steals in 25 games.

PRICE ON THE GLASS
Elijah Price continues to anchor the rim and rank among the Mountain West's best. He has 258 rebounds, ranking second in the league, and first in blocks (53).
The redshirt sophomore also ranks in the top three in both defensive (6.21) and offensive (2.69) rebounds per game.

LEADING THE PACK
Corey Camper Jr. continues to lead the Pack offense. Camper Jr. has 433 points (17.3 per game) and 112 rebounds (4.5 per game).
Camper Jr. reached several career milestones this season, highlighted by a 35-point performance on Feb. 3 against Boise State, where he knocked down 14 field goals.

PACK IN THE RANKINGS
Nevada remains among the Mountain West and the country's best across several statistical categories.
Led by Elijah Price, the Pack ranks eighth and 14th nationally in free throws made (19.5) and free-throw attempts per game (25.9), leading the conference in both categories while also sitting third in blocks per game (3.9).
The Pack is ranked second in the conference in three-point percentage (37.7), just behind Colorado State.
