RENO, Nev. - Bailey Heydra concluded her season at the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships on Wednesday. The three-day meet, held March 9–11 in Flagstaff, Arizona, brought together top divers from across the region competing for a chance to qualify for the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
Heydra opened competition on Monday in the 1-meter prelims, securing 34th with a score of 221.50. Day two brought an unfortunate scratch in the 3-meter, but she rebounded on Wednesday with a strong showing on Platform prelims, finishing 19th with a score of 217.10 to close out her week.
Heydra fell just shy of the diving qualifications needed to secure a spot in Atlanta Georgia for the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.Â
