RENO, Nev. - After getting back in the win column with a 74-59 win against the Falcons, Nevada is set to open the 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Championship on Wednesday evening, as they face No. 12 seed Air Force in the First Round.
Pack fans can watch the contest at 2:30 p.m. on Mountain West Network with Nate Kreckman (play-by-play) and Terrence Oglesby (analyst) on the call.

LAST TIME OUT
Nevada is coming off a dominant performance against the Air Force Falcons at Lawlor Events Center to close the regular season on Saturday evening.
The Pack had four players scoring in double digits, with
Corey Camper Jr. leading the way with 18 points, four rebounds, and three assists.
Elijah Price added 13 points and five rebounds, while
Tayshawn Comer finished with 11 points and three assists.
Vaughn Weems chipped in 10 points and three rebounds.
This marks Nevada's 13th game of the season with four or more players in the double digits scoring.
As a team, Nevada shot 48 percent from the field, 22 percent from three, and 80 percent from the free-throw line. The Pack also won the bench battle, 27-24, and held advantages in second-chance points (12-6) and fast-break points (13-6).
Camper Jr. and
Joel Armotrading led the defense with two blocks each, while five Wolf Pack players recorded a steal.
SCOUTING AIR FORCE
In the game against Nevada, Air Force was led by freshman Kam Sanders, with 14 points, three assists, and three steals.
Sanders was followed by Kolby Gilles and Eli Robinson with 12 points apiece. Caleb Walker also contributed with 10 points while leading the team in rebounds with six.
As a team, Air Force shot 49 percent from the field, 17 percent from three, and 41 percent from the free-throw line.
WEEMS ATTACK
Vaughn Weems has been a steady contributor in the Pack rotation. Recording 11 double-figure scoring games this season, Weems has taken advantage of every opportunity.
The junior recorded back-to-back career-high performances, highlighted by a 20-point game against New Mexico followed by a 30-point game against UNLV.
Weems also recorded a career performance in field goals (10-for-13), free throws (8-for-12), and rebounds (9).
CAMPER JR. IN THE 1,000-POINT CLUB
After dropping 18 points against San Jose State on February 17,
Corey Camper Jr. officially joined the 1,000-point club, reaching a major milestone in his collegiate career.
The Little Rock, Ark., native scored 612 points across two seasons at UTEP before transferring to Nevada, where he has added 388 points so far this season.
PRICE PASSES 500 CAREER BOARDS
Elijah Price reached a major milestone in Nevada's win over Utah State on Feb. 21, surpassing 500 career rebounds with 12 boards in the game.
The redshirt sophomore's consistency on the glass has made him a key presence inside, securing crucial rebounds on both ends of the floor.
Earlier this season, Price set a career high with 19 rebounds against Southern Illinois, the most by a Nevada player since 2016 and the best single-game effort under head coach
Steve Alford.
NEVADA'S DEPTH
Nevada's depth has been a key factor in its success this season, as it consistently brings energy to both sides of the ball.
After outscoring Air Force, 27-24, the Pack now has an 11-5 record, with more bench points than its opponents this season.
FRESHMAN SPARK
Nevada's freshmen continue to make an impact this season.
Peyton White has appeared in 30 games, averaging 14.8 minutes, with career highs of 15 points vs. UC Davis and nine rebounds vs. UC San Diego.
Ethan Croley recorded a double-double (11 points, 10 rebounds) against San Francisco, the program's first by a freshman since 2023.
Myles Walker has added depth in the backcourt, totaling 37 points, 39 assists, 18 rebounds, and 14 steals in 27 games.
PRICE ON THE GLASS
Elijah Price continues to anchor the rim and rank among the Mountain West's best. He has 266 rebounds, ranking third in the league, and second in blocks (54).
The redshirt sophomore also ranks third in both defensive (6.00) and offensive (2.58) rebounds per game.
LEADING THE PACK
Corey Camper Jr. continues to lead the Pack offense. Camper Jr. has 462 points (17.1 per game) and 119 rebounds (4.4 per game).
Camper Jr. reached several career milestones this season, highlighted by a 35-point performance on Feb. 3 against Boise State, where he knocked down 14 field goals.
PACK IN THE RANKINGS
Nevada remains among the Mountain West and the country's best across several statistical categories.
Led by
Elijah Price, the Pack ranks ninth and 14th nationally in free throws made (19.4) and free-throw attempts per game (25.8), leading the conference in both categories while also sitting third in blocks per game (3.8).
The Pack is ranked second in the conference in three-point percentage (36.9), just behind Colorado State.
EFFICIENCY IS KEY
Nevada has been tremendous at taking care of the ball this season, as the Pack has a combined 305 turnovers through 31 games.
The Pack leads the conference in fewest turnovers per game (9.8), and the Pack has had 10 or fewer turnovers in 20 of 31 games this season.
