RENO, Nev. - Nevada (8-5) puts its five-game winning streak on the line as it travels to Stanford for a rematch with the Cardinal Wednesday at 6:05 p.m.

The teams met March 2, with Nevada using a five-run ninth inning to come back for a 9-6 win.

Wednesday's game will be streamed on ACC Network Extra (ACCNx). Wolf Pack fans can listen to the audio broadcast on The Varsity Network with Wolf Pack Baseball alumnus Zak Basch on the call.

ABOUT STANFORD
Stanford (5-10) comes into Wednesday on a six-game slide. After last Monday's loss to the Wolf Pack, the Cardinal began ACC play at Wake Forest where it was swept by the Demon Deacons.

JJ Moran (.345) and Charlie Bates (.339) are the only Cardinal full-timers batting over .300, and share the team lead in hits with 19 apiece. Rintaro Sasaki leads the team with four homers while Moran and Bates are among four Stanford players with three each.

On the mound, lefty Brock Ketelsen got the start last Monday against Nevada, and has no decisions and 12 strikeouts over his three starts. Cohen Gomez will start for the Cardinal Wednesday, with a 2-0 mark and 14 strikeouts over 9.1 innings.

AGAINST THE CARDINAL
Stanford leads the all-time series against Nevada, 21-9. Last Monday's meeting between the teams was the first since 2015, and was Nevada's first win in the series since 2002.

Nevada's win was also its first at Sunken Diamond since a 4-3 decision in 2000.

LAST TIME OUT
Nevada wrapped up a 4-0 week with a three-game series sweep against Pacific at Don Weir Field at Peccole Park. The Wolf Pack scored in double figures in each game, capped by a 12-2, eight-inning win in Sunday's finale.

The Pack batted .387 and banged out 41 hits over the three contests. The offense was spread well throughout the lineup, led by Lee Matsuzaki hitting .750 (9-for-12) with four doubles and three RBIs. Jacob Doyle returned to the lineup Saturday after a night off Friday and went 4-for-4 with two homers, two doubles and six RBIs in that 10-5 win. Nevada players posted six performances with at least three hits, including four-hit games from Doyle (Saturday) and Matsuzaki (Sunday).

On the mound, Mahiro Tomita had another solid relief outing Friday, striking out five and allowing just one run over 5.2 innings to keep Nevada in it and set up the comeback win. Sunday, starter Jordan Giacomini got his second win, going 5.2 innings and striking out four while allowing just two runs.
