LA JOLLA, Calif. -Â Nevada Men's Tennis returned to action for the first time in nearly a month, defeating Pomona Pitzer, 6-0, in La Jolla.
The match concluded a weekend in the San Diego area in which the Wolf Pack also participated in the PAC Coast Doubles Championship.
Nevada (5-2) made quick work of the doubles point, getting matching 6-2 victories from the tandems of
Rémy Trégourès and
Greg Valente and
Axel Huysmans and
Max Contet.
In singles, Trégourès took a 6-4, 6-2 victory at No. 1 while Hermassi beat Sam English, 6-2, 6-1, at No. 2. The Pack's additional wins came from Huysmans at No. 3, 6-1, 6-0, and at No. 5 as Valente downed Tanner Ige, 6-2, 6-4.
Nevada heads to Sacramento next weekend for duals at the Golden State Invitational.
