RENO, Nev. - After battling on the road against Boise State, Nevada is set to host Fresno State in Lawlor Events Center on Saturday, Jan. 7, at 7 p.m.

Nevada hits the road for back-to-back games, starting on Saturday, Feb. 14, against San Diego State, followed by San José State on Tuesday, Feb. 17. Both tip-offs are set for 7 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
Nevada (16-7; 8-4 MW) falls, 91-87, in overtime against Boise State (14-9; 6-6 MW) at the ExtraMile Arena on Tuesday evening.
Corey Camper Jr. recorded another career-high game of 35 points, leading the team's offense.
Tayshawn Comer tied his season high of 24 points to follow Camper Jr.
Elijah Price (17 points and 9 rebounds) was also in the double digits to help the Nevada offense.
As a team, the Pack shot 49 percent from the field, 42 percent from three, and 68 percent from the free-throw line.
Nevada won the battle in the paint, 38–36, and points off turnovers, 15–11, after forcing Boise State into 11 turnovers, but was outpaced on the glass, 35–25, and in bench points, 23–3.
BULLDOGS REMATCH
On January 3, 2026, Nevada and Fresno State faced each other on the first game of the year, with the Pack earning a 66-65 victory over the Bulldogs.
Tyler Rolison led the way as Nevada's reserves outscored Fresno State 27-1. Rolison finished with 16 points and two assists, scoring 14 of those points after halftime.
Elijah Price followed with a near double-double, posting 15 points and nine rebounds, while
Vaughn Weems added 13 points and six boards.
The Pack defense forced Fresno State into 15 turnovers, and the team came out led by Price with four steals and four blocks to the board. The Long Beach, Calif. native was followed by Rolison, with two steals, and Weems with two blocks.
SCOUTING FRESNO STATE
Fresno State is coming off a thrilling buzzer-beater victory over UNLV on Tuesday night in the Save Mart Center.
The Bulldogs went on a 7-0 run in the final six seconds of the game to snap a 98-96 victory over the Runnin' Rebels.
Jake Heidbreder led the Bulldogs with a game-high of 29 points, making four three-pointers and going 7-of-9 from the free-throw line. Heidbreder was followed by Zaon Collins with 16 points and three assists, and DeShawn Gory added 15 points. Bastien Rieber came off the bench with 15 points, going 10-of-13 at the free-throw line.
CAMPER JR. OLD TRAPPER MW PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Corey Camper Jr. has been named the Old Trapper Mountain West Player of the Week after setting a new career high in points, the conference office announced Monday.
The Little Rock, Ark., native helped Nevada earn wins over Grand Canyon and UNLV, averaging 20 points, five rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.5 steals in 37 minutes per game. He scored a season-high 32 points against UNLV, marking his second career-high scoring effort of the year.
Camper Jr. shot 50 percent from the field and 63 percent from three over the two games, earning his first career Player of the Week honor.
Camper Jr. is the second Nevada player to earn the honors this season. On Jan. 12,
Elijah Price earned his accolade after his performance against San Diego State and Wyoming.
NEVADA'S DEPTH
Nevada's depth has been a key factor in its success this season, as it consistently brings energy to both sides of the ball.
The Pack has a 9-2 record, with more bench points than its opponents this season.
FRESHMAN SPARK
Nevada's freshmen keep making an impact on the team to help the Pack secure wins this season.
Peyton White has entered all 23 games this season, averaging 17.0 minutes per contest. The freshman recorded a career high of 15 points against UC Davis on Nov. 18 and nine rebounds against UC San Diego on Dec. 2.
Ethan Croley recorded a double-double (11 points and 10 rebounds) in the win against San Francisco on Nov. 28. Croley's performance was the program's first since Darrion Williams against New Mexico in 2023.
Myles Walker has also made an impact in the backcourt of the offense for the Pack. The freshman has 29 assists, 31 points, and 15 rebounds of its own. On the defense, Walker has 12 steals in 20 games played.
PRICE ON THE GLASS
Elijah Price continues to protect the rim and be at the top of the Mountain West in multiple categories. Price now has 203 total rebounds and ranks second in the Mountain West.
The redshirt sophomore is first in blocks (44, 1.91 per game), second in defensive (6.17), and third in offensive (2.70) rebounds per game.
His 19-rebound game on November 12, 2025, set a new career high and stands as one of the top rebounding games in program history.
Price's effort is now the best single-game rebounding performance by a Nevada player under head coach
Steve Alford and the most by any Pack player since Cameron Oliver grabbed 21 boards against UNLV on Feb. 20, 2016.
LEADING THE PACK
Corey Camper Jr. and Tayshaw Comer continue to set the pace of the Pack offense. Comer has 92 assists and a total of 306 points (13.3 per game), while Camper Jr. has 339 points (17.8 per game) and 83 rebounds (4.4 per game).
Both Comer and Camper Jr. reached career milestones this season. Comer recorded a career high for three-pointers made with four in six attempts at Washington State on Dec. 7, 2025, while also reaching his career high in free throws against Boise State on Dec. 20, 2025, with 13-for-14 made.
Against Boise State on February 3, Camper Jr. reached 35 points by making 14 field goals, setting a new career high.
PACK IN THE RANKINGS
Nevada remains among the Mountain West and the country's best across several statistical categories.
Nevada leads the conference in free throws made per game (19.3) and is second for free-throw attempts per game (25.5), and is third in the Mountain West in blocks per game (4.0).
The Pack is ranked 10th in the country and second in the conference in three-point percentage (39.4), just behind Colorado State (39.5).
EFFICIENCY IS KEY
Nevada has been tremendous at taking care of the ball this season, as the Pack has a combined 212 turnovers through 23 games.
The Pack ranks 10th in the nation in fewest turnovers per game (9.2), and the Pack has had 10 or fewer turnovers in 17 of 23 games this season.
