RENO, Nev. - Nevada Women's Basketball hosts Boise State on Wednesday morning in the second 'When I Grow Up' game of the season. Tip is set for 10:30 a.m.
Nevada last played at San Diego State on Saturday, falling to the Aztecs, 67-54. The Pack outrebounded San Diego State, 36-32, and dominated in bench points, 25-13. Nevada also had 12 second-chance points while holding the Aztecs to zero.Â
The second half is where the game slipped away. Nevada fell behind by as much as 20 in the fourth quarter.
Maia Rosarion led the Pack in scoring with a season-high 14 points. She also had six rebounds.
Imbie Jones led in boards with a season-high of eight.
Izzy Sullivan also scored in double-digits with 12 points.
Boise State is coming off of a win over San José State, 96-62, extending its win-streak to seven games. The Broncos scored 39 points in the first quarter alone. They shot 48 percent from the floor for the entire game and 50 percent from beyond the arc.Â
The Broncos grabbed 48 rebounds to San José State's 31. They also took the ball away 10 times and scored 36 points off of turnovers.
Dani Bayes recorded a double-double, dropping 18 points and grabbing 10 boards. Tatum Thompson led both teams in scoring with 28 points.Â
Nevada and Boise State last met on New Year's Eve in Idaho, where the Pack fell, 74-62.
