Nevada Softball announces two signees to their Wolf Pack Family

RENO, Nev. – Nevada Softball announces their two newest signees to the Wolf Pack family. A talented pair of student‑athletes have officially committed to continuing their academic and athletic careers in Reno. These signees represent the future of the program, bringing skill, passion, and dedication that will strengthen the Pack both on and off the field.

"We are super excited to add Grace and Mia to this class. They play for two of the best travel organizations in the country and will have an immediate impact on the field and within our culture," said Head Coach Victoria Hayward.

Mia Demartini / UTL / San Mateo, Calif. / Hillsdale HS
A 2025 Tier 1 Alliance National Champion with Warrior Academy, Mia was a key offensive contributor during the team's title run, hitting .361 against elite national competition.

A four‑year varsity starter at Hillsdale High School, DeMartini posted a career .380 batting average and a .480 on‑base percentage while leading the team to both a CCS championship and a CIF NorCal title. Mia's athletic impact extended well beyond the diamond, as a two‑year varsity soccer player and a four‑year varsity volleyball standout, earning MVP honors this past fall.

Hayward on Demartini: "Mia is a competitor that can play anywhere on the field. She is a right-handed hitter with gap power and speed. We are excited to watch her grow within our program!"

Grace Maguire / OF / Simi Valley, Calif. / Grace HS
Maguire is a standout within the OC Batbusters organization, currently playing for Batbusters Stith.  In her time within the program, Grace has helped her teams to top national finishes including a 10U PGF third‑place finish, a 12U Alliance National Championship third‑place run, where she earned All‑Tournament Team honors, and a 14U Alliance National Championship title with OC Batbusters Stith Black. She is recognized nationally as a 4‑star recruit by Softball America.

Grace is a three‑time All‑Ventura County selection, the 2024 Tri‑Valley League MVP, and a 2024 All‑CIF honoree, anchoring her program with elite production and leadership.

Hayward on Maguire: "Grace is a dynamic competitor, has elite softball IQ and will bring a combo of power and speed to our outfield."
