RENO, Nev. - Nevada Women's Basketball will host San José State on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in its second to last home game of the season.
The Pack returns home after a loss to UNLV on Saturday, 81-64.
Nevada had a strong first quarter before struggles from the line and from beyond the arc added up. After closing out the first 10 minutes on a 6-0 run for the lead, Nevada fell behind.
As a team, the Pack had 33 rebounds, eight steals and 16 assists.
Imbie Jones led in scoring with 13 points, followed by
Skylar Durley with 12 and
Ahrray Young with 11.
Amelia Raidaveta and
Makayla Carter led in boards with six.
San José State is also coming off of a loss, falling to Boise State, 71-48.
Through the full 40 minutes, the Spartans shot 24.53 percent from the floor and 34.62 percent from three. In the first quarter, San José State was held to just six points.
The Spartans struggled to control the ball with 19 turnovers.
Maya Anderson led in scoring with 20 points, followed by Allie Cummins with 14. Kaliyah Dillard led in rebounds with seven.
The teams last met at the end of January in San Jose, with Nevada falling, 60-57.
