RENO, Nev. - After pulling off an 80-77 win against the Utah State Aggies, Nevada is set to host the New Mexico Lobos on Tuesday, Feb. 24, in Lawlor Events Center.

LAST TIME OUT
After leading for a total of 6 minutes in the game, Nevada (18-9; 10-6 MW) pulled out an 80-77 win against Utah State (23-4; 13-3 MW) in Lawlor Events Center on Saturday night.
With four players in the double digits, the Pack came out on top after shooting 51 percent from the field, 53 percent from beyond the arc, and 74 percent from the line.
Corey Camper Jr. led the offense with 20 points and 4 rebounds. Camper Jr. was followed by
Elijah Price with a double-double (10 points and 12 rebounds),
Tayshawn Comer (12 points and seven assists), and
Kaleb Lowery (11 points and five rebounds).
On the defense side, Price and
Joel Armotrading made their impact with three blocks apiece. The Pack was able to hold the Aggies to 40 percent from the field, 44 percent from the three-point line, and 63 percent from the free-throw line.
The Pack won the paint battle, 30-20, and fast-break points, 20-14.
LOBOS REMATCH
Last time Nevada and New Mexico faced each other, the Pack dropped the match, 80-73, on January 24 at the Pit.
Nevada's offense recorded 42 percent from the field, 26 percent from beyond the arc, and 81 percent from the free throw line, while New Mexico had 39 percent from the field, 43 percent from three-point range, and 74 percent from the free throw line.
The Pack won the battle in the paint, with a 32-22 score, but was outscored in turnovers (9-20) and bench points (6-26).
Corey Camper Jr. led the Pack with 20 points and eight rebounds. Camper Jr. was followed by
Elijah Price with a double-double (16 points and 11 rebounds),
Vaughn Weems (16 points and eight rebounds, and
Tayshawn Comer (13 points and four assists).
Price led the defense with a season high of six blocks and three steals.
SCOUTING NEW MEXICO
After trailing by 22 points in the first half, the New Mexico Lobos secured an 80-78 win against the Fresno State Bulldogs at the Save Mart Center.
Deyton Albury led the Lobos with 21 points and eight rebounds for the highest scoring game in his Mountain West career. Freshman Jake Hall scored 20 points for his ninth 20-point game of the season. Albury and Hall were followed by Luke Haupt, who added 10 points for the Lobos. Â
CAMPER JR. IN THE 1,000-POINT CLUB
After dropping 18 points against San Jose State,
Corey Camper Jr. officially joined the 1,000-point club, reaching a major milestone in his collegiate career.
The Little Rock, Ark., native scored 612 points across two seasons at UTEP before transferring to Nevada, where he has added 388 points so far this season.
PRICE PASSES 500 CAREER BOARDS
Elijah Price reached a major milestone in Nevada's win over Utah State, surpassing 500 career rebounds with 12 boards in the game.
The redshirt sophomore's consistency on the glass has made him a key presence inside, securing crucial rebounds on both ends of the floor.
Earlier this season, Price set a career high with 19 rebounds against Southern Illinois, the most by a Nevada player since 2016 and the best single-game effort under head coach
Steve Alford.
NEVADA'S DEPTH
Nevada's depth has been a key factor in its success this season, as it consistently brings energy to both sides of the ball.
The Pack has a 10-3 record, with more bench points than its opponents this season.
FRESHMAN SPARK
Nevada's freshmen continue to make an impact this season.
Peyton White has appeared in 26 games, averaging 15.7 minutes, with career highs of 15 points vs. UC Davis and nine rebounds vs. UC San Diego.
Ethan Croley recorded a double-double (11 points, 10 rebounds) against San Francisco, the program's first by a freshman since 2023.
Myles Walker has added depth in the backcourt, totaling 31 points, 34 assists, 17 rebounds, and 13 steals in 23 games.
PRICE ON THE GLASS
Elijah Price continues to anchor the rim and rank among the Mountain West's best. He has 241 rebounds, ranking second in the league, and first in blocks (47).
The redshirt sophomore also ranks in the top three in both defensive (6.22) and offensive (2.70) rebounds per game.
LEADING THE PACK
Corey Camper Jr. continues to lead the Pack offense. Camper Jr. has 408 points (17.7 per game) and 100 rebounds (4.3 per game).
Camper Jr. reached career milestones this season after reaching 35 points while making 14 field goals against Boise State on Feb. 3.
PACK IN THE RANKINGS
Nevada remains among the Mountain West and the country's best across several statistical categories.
Led by
Elijah Price, Nevada leads the conference in free throws made (19.4) and free-throw attempts per game (25.7), and is third in the Mountain West in blocks per game (3.9).
The Pack is ranked second in the conference in three-point percentage (37.6), just behind Colorado State.
EFFICIENCY IS KEY
Nevada has been tremendous at taking care of the ball this season, as the Pack has a combined 263 turnovers through 27 games.
The Pack has had 10 or fewer turnovers in 18 of 27 games this season.
