HOUSTON, Texas – Nevada wrapped up the final day of the Credit Union 1 Mountain West Swimming & Diving Championships with a silver medal from
Bailey Heydra and a collection of top conference honors.
Heydra, Nevada's only championship final participant Saturday night, secured her third medal of the four-day meet, earning silver on platform to bring her career Mountain West medal total to nine. Her performance capped an exceptional championship run that also earned her recognition as the Mountain West Diver of the Meet. For the second-straight year, Heydra medaled in all three diving events, including winning gold on 3-Meter springboard Thursday night.
Nevada collected two additional major honors in the final session.
Moji Pholjamjumrus was named Freshman of the Meet, and
Scarlett Ferris earned Co-Swimmer of the Meet, giving the Pack three of the conference's top individual awards. Both swimmers earned automatic qualifications to the NCAA Championships with wins in their individual events, including Ferris earning a Mountain West three-peat in the 100 back.
The Pack placed sixth in the 400-yard freestyle relay to close the meet. They also delivered three scoring swims in the 1650-yard freestyle, with Huska Batbayar finishing sixth, Isabella Gomez taking eleventh, and Kiera-Lee Allott placing twelfth.
Nevada opened the morning with strong preliminary performances, including
Henley Kerr advancing to the C Final of the 200-yard breaststroke and
Molly Von Seggern qualifying for the C Final of the 200-yard backstroke.
The Pack concluded the 2025–26 Mountain West Championships in fifth place with 861.5 points.
