RENO, Nev. - Nevada is looking to bounce back after dropping a road matchup, 87-71, against San José State on Tuesday evening. The Pack is set to face Utah State at Lawlor Events Center on Saturday, Feb 21.

LAST TIME OUT
Nevada dropped a matchup on the road, 87-71, against San José State on Tuesday evening.
Despite the Pack beating the Spartans in the paint, 32-14, and the bench battle, 15-11, San José State controlled the game from the start, shooting 52 percent from the field and 52 percent from threes.
Corey Camper Jr. led the way with 18 points, four assists, and three steals. The Little Rock, Ark. native was followed by
Elijah Price (14) and
Vaughn Weems (11) in the double-digit points.
Price led the Pack on board play with seven rebounds while adding three steals on defense. Weems also made his impact on the Pack defense with 3 steals.
AGGIES REMATCH
Last time Nevada and Utah State faced each other, the Pack was unable to stop the Aggies, as they lost 71-62 on the road on Jan 14.
Elijah Price led the offense with a double-double (13 points and 11 rebounds).
Corey Camper Jr. (14) and
Tayshawn Comer (11) also made their impact with double digits in points.
As a team, the Pack finished the game shooting 34 percent from the field, 44 percent from three, and 77 percent from the line.
Kaleb Lowery, Price, and Camper Jr. tallied two steals each to lead the defense.
SCOUTING UTAH STATE
Utah State is coming off a regular-season sweep against Boise State on Wednesday afternoon. The Broncos were held to their lowest scoring performance of the season, 75-56, with a 37 percent shooting percentage.
Mason Falslev led the Aggies offense with 17 points. Falslev was followed by MJ Collins Jr. (13), Zach Keller (10), and Adlan Elamin (10) in the double-figure points.
Utah State shot 54.7 percent (29-of-53) from the floor, 38.1 percent (8-of-21) from 3-point range, and 69.2 percent (9-of-13) at the line.
CAMPER JR. IN THE 1,000-POINT CLUB
After dropping 18 points against San Jose State,
Corey Camper Jr. officially joined the 1,000-point club, reaching a major milestone in his collegiate career.
The Little Rock, Ark., native scored 612 points across two seasons at UTEP before transferring to Nevada, where he has added 388 points so far this season.
ON THE ROAD TO 500
Elijah Price is nearing a major milestone, sitting just shy of 500 career rebounds. He currently has 493 boards. His consistency on the glass has made him a key presence inside, securing crucial boards on both ends of the floor.
Reaching 500 would highlight his impact and steady growth, further solidifying his role as one of the top rebounders in the Mountain West.
NEVADA'S DEPTH
Nevada's depth has been a key factor in its success this season, as it consistently brings energy to both sides of the ball.
The Pack has a 10-3 record, with more bench points than its opponents this season.
FRESHMAN SPARK
Nevada's freshmen continue to make an impact this season.
Peyton White has appeared in 25 games, averaging 16.2 minutes, with career highs of 15 points vs. UC Davis and nine rebounds vs. UC San Diego.
Ethan Croley recorded a double-double (11 points, 10 rebounds) against San Francisco, the program's first by a freshman since 2023.
Myles Walker has added depth in the backcourt, totaling 31 points, 34 assists, 17 rebounds, and 13 steals in 23 games.
PRICE ON THE GLASS
Elijah Price continues to anchor the rim and rank among the Mountain West's best. He has 229 rebounds, ranking second in the league, and in blocks (44).
The redshirt sophomore also ranks in the top three in both defensive (6.12) and offensive (2.69) rebounds per game.
Price's 19-rebound performance on Nov. 12 set a career high and stands as the best single-game rebounding effort under head coach
Steve Alford, and the most by a Nevada player since 2016.
LEADING THE PACK
Corey Camper Jr. continues to lead the Pack offense. Camper Jr. has 388 points (17.6 per game) and 96 rebounds (4.4 per game).
Camper Jr. reached career milestones this season after reaching 35 points while making 14 field goals against Boise State on Feb. 3.
PACK IN THE RANKINGS
Nevada remains among the Mountain West and the country's best across several statistical categories.
Nevada leads the conference in free throws made (19.4) and free-throw attempts per game (25.6), and is third in the Mountain West in blocks per game (3.8).
The Pack is ranked second in the conference in three-point percentage (37.0), just behind Colorado State.
EFFICIENCY IS KEY
Nevada has been tremendous at taking care of the ball this season, as the Pack has a combined 248 turnovers through 26 games.
