RENO, Nev. - After battling on the road against New Mexico, Nevada returns home for a game against Grand Canyon on Tuesday, January 27 at 7:30 p.m.

This will be the fourth time in program history that the teams will face each other.

ABOUT GRAND CANYON
The Grand Canyon Lopes (13-6; 6-2 MW) are coming out with an 68-57 victory over Fresno State (9-11; 3-6 MW) on the road to continue their win streak.

Jaden Henley led the way with his first career double-double (23 points and 10 rebounds). Henley was followed by Makaih Williams, with 14 points, all scored in the second half of the game.

GCU scored 34 points in the last 13 minutes of the game, forcing Fresno State to miss 16 out of its first 18 shots and finishing with 30.2 percent from the field, a season low for the Bulldogs and any Lopes opponent.

Henley lead the Lopes offense, averaging 17.2 points a game and 5.1 rebounds. The senior is followed by Williams, who is averaging 13.1 points and 2.4 rebounds, and Nana Owusu-Anane with 9.4 points and 8.9 rebounds a game.

LAST TIME OUT
Nevada (14-6; 6-3 MW) falls 80-73 to New Mexico (16-4; 7-2 MW) on the road, Saturday evening.

Nevada's offense recorded 42 percent from the field, 26 percent from beyond the arc, and 81 percent from the free throw line, while New Mexico had 39 percent from the field, 43 percent from three-point range, and 74 percent from the free throw line.

The Pack won the battle in the paint, with a 32-22 score, but was outscored in turnovers (9-20) and bench points (6-26).

Corey Camper Jr. led the Pack with 20 points and eight rebounds. Camper Jr. was followed by
Elijah Price with a double-double (16 points and 11 rebounds),
Vaughn Weems (16 points and eight rebounds, and
Tayshawn Comer (13 points and four assists).

Price led the defense with a season high of six blocks and three steals.

NEVADA'S DEPTH
Nevada's depth has been a key factor in its success this season, as it consistently brings energy to both sides of the ball.

The Pack now has an 8-2 record, with more bench points than its opponents this season.

FRESHMAN SPARK
Nevada's freshmen keep making an impact on the team to help the Pack secure wins this season.

Peyton White has entered all 20 games this season, averaging 16.7 minutes per contest. The freshman recorded a career high of 15 points against UC Davis on Nov. 18 and nine rebounds against UC San Diego on Dec. 2.

Ethan Croley recorded a double-double (11 points and 10 rebounds) in the win against San Francisco on Nov. 28. Croley's performance was the program's first since Darrion Williams against New Mexico in 2023.

Myles Walker has also made an impact in the backcourt of the offense for the Pack. The freshman has 28 assists, 31 points, and 15 rebounds of its own. On the defense, Walker has 12 steals in 18 games played.

PRICE ON THE GLASS
Elijah Price continues to protect the rim and be at the top of the Mountain West in multiple categories. After his 11 rebounds against New Mexico, Price now has 178 total rebounds and ranks second in the Mountain West.

The redshirt sophomore is first in blocks (42, 2.10 per game) and second in offensive (2.80) and third defensive (6.10) rebounds per game.

His 19-rebound game on November 12, 2025, set a new career high and stands as one of the top rebounding games in program history.

Price's effort is now the best single-game rebounding performance by a Nevada player under head coach
Steve Alford and the most by any Pack player since Cameron Oliver grabbed 21 boards against UNLV on Feb. 20, 2016.

LEADING THE PACK
Tayshawn Comer and
Corey Camper Jr. continue to lead the Pack offense. Comer has 79 assists and a total of 273 points (13.7 per game), while Camper Jr. has 264 points (16.5 per game) and 69 rebounds (4.3 per game).

Both Comer and Camper Jr. reached career milestones this season. Comer recorded a career high for three-pointers made with four in six attempts at Washington State on Dec. 7, 2025, while also reaching his career high in free throws against Boise State on Dec. 20, 2025, with 13-for-14 made.

Against Wyoming on January 10, Camper Jr. reached 31 points while making 10 field goals to set a new career high.

PACK IN THE RANKINGS
Nevada remains among the Mountain West and the country's best across several statistical categories.

Nevada leads the conference in free throws made per game (19.6), is second in the conference for free-throw attempts per game (25.5), and is third in the Mountain West in blocks per game (4.2).

The Pack is ranked 16th in the country and second in the conference in three-point percentage (39.4), just behind Colorado State (41.3).

EFFICIENCY IS KEY
Nevada has been tremendous at taking care of the ball this season, as the Pack has a combined 188 turnovers through 20 games.
