RENO, Nev. — The Nevada Women's Soccer team honored its seniors in a heartfelt pregame ceremony today at Mackay Stadium, celebrating the dedication and contributions of its graduating players before taking the field against San Jose´ State.
The match kicked off with high energy and emotion, and Nevada struck first in the 49th minute when senior Rylee Husted found the back of the net, giving the Wolf Pack a 1–0 lead. San Jose´ State responded in the 73rd minute with a goal of their own, leveling the score and setting the stage for a tense final stretch.
Both teams showed grit and determination throughout the match, trading chances and battling for control in a physical and fast-paced contest. Despite several late opportunities, neither side could break the deadlock, and the game ended in a 1–1 draw.
Nevada will return to Mackay Stadium for its next home game on Thursday, October 2nd at 7:00 PM, when they take on Grand Canyon University (GCU).
