FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Nevada volleyball wrapped up its road trip on Saturday, dropping the match to Colorado State in straight sets.
The Pack struggled to find rhythm through the first half of both the opening and middle sets before late pushes allowed them to come back within just a few points.
In the first set, Nevada was down by as much as six at one point, before a 3-0 run cut the lead to just two, 23-21.

Mckaley Herr each got a kill, capped off with an ace by
Nicanora Clarke.Â
In the second, the Pack were down by as much as nine, but clawed their way back to come within four. Despite the comebacks, both sets went in favor of Colorado State, 25-21.
Nevada couldn't carry the fight into the third set, dropping it with a final of 25-13.
Herr led both teams in kills with 11, followed by
Haylee Brown with 10.
Audrey Jensen recorded 23 assists.
Nevada will head home for its first conference game of the season inside VSG, hosting UNLV on October 2 at 6 PM.
