RENO, Nev. — Nevada Men's Basketball has officially signed Ethan Croley, a 6-foot-9, 235-pound forward who brings a physical edge and high motor to Reno. Croley committed to Nevada in November and finalized his decision with a signed National Letter of Intent this week.
Croley has spent the past year competing in the Overtime Elite league with the Diamond Doves, where he developed his inside game against elite competition. In his most recent season, Croley averaged 16.7 points, 10.7 rebounds, and shot 46.7 percent from the field.
"Ethan brings great size and versatility to our frontcourt," said head coach Steve Alford. "At 6-foot-9, he has the ability to stretch the floor and impact the game defensively. He plays a very physical game, and we're looking forward to his continued development in our system."
Croley flashed his upside early in the season, putting up 20.5 points and 17.5 rebounds across his first two outings. His ability to dominate the glass and finish through contact makes him a potential difference-maker in the Mountain West.
Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Croley played high school basketball at Clark High, earning All-District First Team recognition as a senior. With Croley in the mix, Nevada adds size, physicality, and effort to its interior rotation — all traits that align with the culture Alford continues to build in Reno.
