RENO, Nev. — Nevada Men's Basketball has strengthened its frontcourt with the addition of 6-foot-9 forward Elijah Price, a Long Beach, California native who transfers in from Fresno State ahead of the 2025–26 season.
Price had a breakout year with the Bulldogs last season, appearing in all 32 games while averaging 10.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, and 1.3 steals per contest. A high-energy player with a strong presence on both ends of the floor, Price brings length, athleticism, and toughness to a Nevada team looking to bounce back after narrowly missing the NCAA Tournament in 2024–25.
"We're excited to welcome Elijah to the Wolf Pack. He brings length, athleticism, and a high motor to our frontcourt," said Nevada Head Coach
Steve Alford. "Elijah has shown steady growth in his game, and we believe he's just scratching the surface of his potential. He fits our culture, he's hungry to compete, and we're looking forward to helping him take the next step in his development here in Reno."
Before joining Fresno State, Price redshirted the 2023–24 season at Drake. His foundation was built during a standout prep career, first at St. Anthony's High School and then at Golden State Prep. While at St. Anthony's, Price was a two-time First Team Division I All-CIF selection and also earned Second Team Open Division All-CIF honors. He averaged 16 points and 11 rebounds per game in his final high school season and was a three-time First Team All-Del Rey League honoree. He also earned Long Beach Press Telegram Dream Team recognition and was named the Long Beach Century Club Basketball Player of the Year.
With Price's arrival, the Wolf Pack adds a battle-tested, versatile forward with a track record of production and a hunger to grow. His presence will be key as Nevada aims to return to the NCAA Tournament and compete for a Mountain West championship in 2025–26.
