MILLBRAE, Calif. — Led by matching scores of 145 (+3) from Anna Shultse and Gabby Kano, the Nevada women's golf team tied for seventh in the first two rounds at the 2025 Silicon Valley Showcase at Green Hills Country Club. The Wolf Pack posted rounds of 302 and 292 for a 36-hole total of 594.
Shultse shot 73-72 to tie for 16th, while Kano bounced back from an opening 75 with a 2-under 70 in the second round. Kano also recorded Nevada's only eagle of the tournament and added four birdies. Payton Lovisa tied for 29th with rounds of 76-74 (150), and Nikki Chindavong tied for 39th at 154 after back-to-back rounds of 78 and 76. Raesa Sheikh finished at 157 to tie for 46th, improving five shots from round one to two and contributing two birdies.
The Wolf Pack ranked first in par-5 scoring across the field at 4.67 (-10) and totaled 20 birdies as a team. Individually, Chindavong led the team with six birdies, followed by Lovisa (5), Kano (4), Shultse (3), and Sheikh (2).
The tournament will continue with the third round on Tuesday, beginning at 8:30 a.m. PT.
