RENO, Nev. - Nevada used a dominant second-half performance to take down Air Force 74-60, fueled by a trio of double-digit scorers. Nick Davidson led the charge with 25 points and 5 rebounds, while Kobe Sanders added 21 points and 3 assists.
Xavier DuSell provided key support, chipping in 11 points and knocking down three three-pointers. The Wolf Pack outscored the Falcons 44-32 in the second half, using efficient shooting and strong defense to secure the win.For Air Force, Ethan Taylor led the Falcons with 15 points, while Wesley Celichowski contributed 13.
First Half
Nevada started strong, but Air Force kept pace early, even taking a nine-point lead midway through the half. The Wolf Pack responded with a 10-0 run to reclaim control.
Despite shooting just 2-of-10 from three-point range, Nevada capitalized on Air Force's turnovers, converting them into 17 first-half points. Sanders led the way with 11 points in the first period, including a late layup that gave Nevada a narrow 30-28 halftime lead.
Second HalfÂ
Nevada turned up the intensity in the second half, shooting an impressive 57.1 percent from the field and 62.5% from three. Davidson took over, scoring 23 of his 25 points after the break, including a dagger three that stretched Nevada's lead to 15 points with just over two minutes remaining.
Sanders sealed the game at the free-throw line, while Xavier DuSell chipped in with 11 points to complement the Wolf Pack's offensive surge. With this win, Nevada improves to 13-10 (5-7 MW) and builds momentum heading into the final stretch of conference play.
