RENO, Nev. - Nevada women's basketball heads out on the road to take on Utah State in their final regular season game on Saturday afternoon.
The Wolf Pack and Aggies met up once already this season in mid-January. The outcome of that game went in favor of Nevada, downing Utah State with a final of 78-69.
Five Pack players ended the day in double-digits in scoring, with
Lexie Givens leading the way and recording her fourth double-double of the season. Givens had 16 points to go with 10 rebounds. She also had two blocks and two steals.
Audrey Roden and
Victoria Davis each had 14 points.
Imbie Jones and
Izzy Sullivan contributed with 12 a piece.
For the Aggies, Mia Tarver led in scoring with 19, followed by Carlie Latta with 12 and Jamisyn Heaton with 11. Cheyenne Stubbs and Gracie Johnson each grabbed six boards.
Nevada is entering this match up coming off of a loss to Colorado State earlier in the week.
Dymonique Maxie led the Pack in scoring with 13, followed by Jones with eight. Givens grabbed seven rebounds with Roden and
Kendra Hicks recording six a piece.
Utah State is entering with a win over San Jose State on Wednesday. Stubbs had 30 points to go with four rebounds. Latta recorded 20 points and also grabbed four boards. Heaton and Sophie Sene led in rebounding with eight a piece.
This will be Nevada's final regular season test before the start on the Mountain West Tournament on March 9. The Pack and Aggies are set to tip-off at 1 PM PST.
