Meet Schedule
Albuquerque, N.M. - Nevada Track and Field is set for the Mountain West Indoor Championships February 27-March 1, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The meet is set to begin at 9 a.m. PT on Thursday and Friday, and will start at 8:30 a.m. PT on Saturday.
The championships will be hosted by New Mexico at Albuquerque Convention Center. This will be the ninth consecutive time the Lobos have hosted the meet. Colorado State captured the Mountain West Championship title last season, scoring 113 points to earn back-to-back-to-back titles (2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24).
At last year's championships the Pack placed 7th on 41 points. The highlight of last years championships included a 4x400m relay team consisting of
Melia Middleton,
Annalies Kalma, Bonet Henderson and
Halyn Senegal that broke the school record, won the MW title and qualified for the NCAA's. Additionally,
Halyn Senegal won the 800m title, the first of her career.
Sarah Marske also found her way onto the podium for the first time in the 60m hurdles, placing 3rd with a time of 8.46s.
This year, the Wolf Pack enters the championships with 12 athletes ranked in the top-10 in their respective events in the conference. Sitting the highest is
Magdalene George, in the 60m Dash (7.29s). George set the school record at the Silver and Blue Invitational, and also set a school record in the 200m (23.69s) at the Silver State Invitational, she sits 4th in the Mountain West.
Annalies Kalma sits in 5th for the 400m, returning from injury and running a 54.12s at the Don Kirby Invitational.
In the field events,
Meekness Dogonyaro sits 3rd in the MW for Triple Jump, setting the school record (13.01m) at the Don Kirby Invitational, held at the same site where the Pack will be competing this week. Freshman
Kaja Maltaric is also in top-10 for Triple Jump, sitting in 8th, a result of her PR (12.02m) and 8th best Triple Jump in Nevada history.
Hazel Gaspaire sits in 7th for High Jump in the conference, she looks to break her 1.70m PR this week in Albuquerque.

Leylah Diaz) also rank in the top-10 in the event, sitting in eighth place in the conference, with hopes to reclaim the title captured at last year's championship.
