RENO, Nev. - Nevada will host the Wyoming Cowboys in their second matchup of the year in Lawlor Events Center at 7 p.m. PST on February 25, 2025. In their previous encounter on December 28, 2024, the Wyoming Cowboys edged out the Nevada Wolf Pack with a 66-63 victory at the Arena Auditorium in Laramie. The game was intensely competitive, featuring 23 lead changes and seven ties, with Wyoming maintaining the lead for nearly 26 minutes.Â
The Cowboys showcased impressive shooting, hitting 11 three-pointers and achieving a season-high 52.4% from beyond the arc. Senior guard Obi Agbim led Wyoming with 18 points, including four three-pointers, while Touko Tainamo added a season-high 15 points, going 7-of-8 from the free-throw line.Â
For Nevada,
Kobe Sanders and
Nick Davidson each contributed 15 points, with Davidson also grabbing six rebounds. Despite a strong effort, the Wolf Pack couldn't overcome Wyoming's efficient offense and clutch performances in the final moments.
