RENO, NEV. - The Nevada Women's Golf team is gearing up for the Causeway Invitational, set to take place on February 24-25 at the prestigious Del Paso Country Club in Sacramento, California. This event promises to be a competitive showcase, with top programs from across the West Coast gathering for two days of high-stakes action.
Established in 1916, Del Paso Country Club is renowned for its challenging layout and rich history. The course features narrow fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and fast greens. With its picturesque but punishing design, Del Paso has hosted several elite competitions, including the U.S. Senior Open, making it the perfect venue for this high-level collegiate invitational.
The Causeway Invitational field is packed with strong contenders, including several teams that regularly appear in national rankings. Notably, #44 UC Davis enters the tournament as the highest-ranked team.
